About Bali Airport Transfer
10 years. 5,000 guests. One promise: fixed price, no surprises.
Who We Are
Bali Airport Transfer is a locally owned and operated mass-market transport company based in Denpasar, Bali. We have been driving travellers between Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) and hotels across the island for more than 10 years. Today our team includes 18 full-time drivers, 6 admin staff, and a fleet of 22 vehicles ranging from Toyota Avanza to Tesla Model Y.
We are not a tech-startup, not a luxury VIP brand, and not a foreign-owned platform that takes 30% margin. We are a small Bali business that grew because travellers told their friends about us. Word of mouth made us, and word of mouth keeps us honest.
The Story
The company started in 2015 when our founder, a former hotel concierge, kept hearing the same complaint from arriving guests: airport taxi drivers quoted one price at the airport gate, then asked for more at the hotel. There was no transparency. Pre-booked transfers from international booking platforms were 2-3x the local rate because of layered commissions.
So he started a WhatsApp-based booking service with one rule: the price you see is the price you pay. No meter, no surge, no extras. The first month had 12 bookings. The 100th month had over 800. Today we serve travellers from 50+ countries every week, and the rule is still the same.
By the Numbers
Our Mission
To make Bali airport transfers transparent, reliable, and stress-free for everyday travellers — families, couples, backpackers, and business visitors — at fair prices anyone can afford. We believe a clean car, an honest fare, and a friendly driver should be the standard, not a luxury.
Why Mass-Market Matters to Us
Bali tourism is changing. The island has plenty of premium VIP services for celebrities, billionaires, and luxury packages that cost $200+ for a 30-minute ride. That is fine — they have their place. But the majority of Bali visitors are middle-class travellers: a family of 4 from Australia, two backpackers from Germany, a couple from Singapore on their first trip together, a small business team from India.
These travellers do not need a Rolls-Royce, a private jet greeting, or a butler at the airport. They need a clean car, a driver who shows up on time, a price they can budget for, and a friendly conversation if they want one. That is who we serve. That is who we will keep serving.

What We Will Never Do
- Charge you more than the WhatsApp-quoted price
- Ask for tips at drop-off (tips are appreciated, never expected)
- Take a longer route to inflate fare
- Sell your data to third parties
- Push you to upgrade a vehicle you don’t need
- Refuse a refund when we are at fault
