When to leave Jimbaran for your flight
The drive itself is 8 km and takes 25–45 minutes. What changes your departure time is the check-in queue, not the road. Airlines generally ask you to be at DPS three hours before an international departure and around two hours before a domestic one. Working backwards from that:

Included in every fare: chauffeur, fuel, tolls, airport parking, air-conditioned vehicle and bottled water. Surcharges are few and flat: +$5 for pickups between 22:00 and 05:00, +3% for card payments, +$10 for an extra stop. Booking your arrival and departure together takes 5% off the combined total. How pickups work across Jimbaran
Jimbaran is not one address — it is a beach strip, a hillside and a gated headland, and each collects differently:
At InterContinental Bali, Belmond Jimbaran Puri, Keraton Jimbaran and the other bay-front properties, your chauffeur pulls into the lobby driveway about ten minutes before the agreed time. Ask the bell desk to bring your bags down a little early; resort driveways here are compact and cars rotate through quickly.
Many Jimbaran villas sit up narrow, unnamed lanes off Jl. Raya Uluwatu where house numbers mean little. When you book, send the villa name plus a Google Maps pin — the driver will come to your actual gate. If your lane is too tight for a V-Class or Staria, we will tell you in advance and agree a meeting point at the top of the lane rather than leaving you to drag luggage uphill on the day.
Estate security logs vehicles at the barrier, so we register your pickup with the gate beforehand. Allow a couple of extra minutes for the internal estate roads — the cliff-side resorts are a longer drive from the public road than they look on the map.
Flying out after one last grilled-fish dinner at Muaya Beach? The beach lane is one narrow row of traffic in the evening, so drivers wait at the entrance of your café rather than on the sand road. Keep your phone on — the driver messages you on WhatsApp when he is standing by.
The road out: Jimbaran to the terminal, hour by hour
Every departure follows the same spine: down to the McDonald's Jimbaran junction, north onto Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai past Kedonganan, then the airport ramp. The junction is the only real variable: At the airport, your driver follows the departures ramp and drops you at the curb of the correct terminal — international and domestic have separate forecourts — then helps unload before the parking marshals wave the car on.

The night before you fly: a five-minute checklist

Reconfirm your pickup time on the WhatsApp thread, especially if your airline has reschedule-happy routes. If your flight moves, we move the car — there is no change fee.

Check your checkout time against your pickup time. Most Jimbaran resorts check out at noon; for an evening flight, ask about luggage storage or a late checkout so you are not sitting in the lobby for six hours.
