Bali Airport Transfer Prices — Fixed in USD

Bali airport transfer prices are fixed from $95 (≈Rp 1,548,500) for a standard private car to Kuta or Seminyak, and up to $150 (≈Rp 2,445,000) to Ubud; larger and luxury vehicles cost more. Every fare is per vehicle — not per person — and includes tolls, parking, flight tracking and a free meet & greet nameboard. A Grab or airport-counter taxi can be cheaper on the raw fare; our price is fixed and known before you land.

How our fixed price compares — Grab, taxi counter and private

We would rather show you the market than hide from it. Here is roughly what each way of leaving DPS costs to the popular areas, in rupiah. A ride-hailing Grab is usually the cheapest raw fare; the official airport taxi counter sits in the middle; our private car is fixed higher because the number is locked before you land and includes the nameboard meet & greet, flight tracking, tolls and parking.

Route from DPS Grab / Gojek app

KutaRp 90,000–150,000Rp 150,000–200,000Rp 1,548,500 ($95)

UbudRp 300,000–450,000Rp 350,000–500,000Rp 2,445,000 ($150)

So is our car the cheapest? No — and we will not pretend otherwise. If the raw fare is all that matters and you are travelling light in daylight, a Grab wins on price. What you pay extra for with us is a fixed number agreed in writing, a driver already holding your name at the exit, no queue at the counter or hunt for the Grab pickup zone, and a flight that is tracked so a delay or a midnight landing costs nothing. A fair rule of thumb: for a standard taxi or Grab, roughly Rp 200,000–350,000 to the south-Bali resort belt and Rp 350,000–500,000 to Ubud is a normal market price — anything far above that at the kerb is worth questioning.

Reading the ladder: south, central, and far Bali

The south-coast resort belt sits closest to the airport, so it carries the lowest fares: Kuta and Legian at $95, Jimbaran at $100, Seminyak at $105, Nusa Dua and Denpasar at $110. The west-coast surf towns add a little distance and a lot of traffic — Canggu is $115 and Pererenan $120 — while the Bukit peninsula (Ungasan $120, Bingin $125, Uluwatu $130) climbs the cliff roads south.

Central and east Bali are proper drives: Ubud at $150 covers 37 km of temple traffic, Sidemen and Padangbai at $180 reach the quiet east, and Candidasa runs $210. The long hauls — Amed at $275, Lovina at $265, Pemuteran at $355 — take three hours or more, which is exactly when a fixed price and a chauffeur who has already planned the fuel and coffee stops earn their keep.

If you are comparing these numbers against the airport taxi counter or a ride-hailing app, our airport transfer price comparison walks through how each option sets its rate — and when each one genuinely makes sense.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a Bali airport transfer?

A standard private car is fixed from $95 (≈Rp 1,548,500) to Kuta or Seminyak, $110 (≈Rp 1,793,000) to Nusa Dua, $115 (≈Rp 1,874,500) to Canggu and $150 (≈Rp 2,445,000) to Ubud, per vehicle. A Grab is usually cheaper on the raw fare; our price is fixed before you land and includes the meet & greet, tolls and parking.

Is IDR 300,000 a fair price for a Bali airport taxi?

For a standard taxi or Grab to the south-Bali resort belt — Kuta, Seminyak, Nusa Dua — a fair market range is roughly IDR 200,000–350,000, so IDR 300,000 is reasonable, at the higher end for Grab but normal for the airport counter. To Ubud, IDR 350,000–500,000 is normal. Our private cars sit above that because the fare is locked before you land and includes meet & greet, flight tracking and tolls.

Are your prices per person or per vehicle?

Every price on this page is per vehicle, one way, in USD. A $105 Seminyak transfer costs $105 whether one person or four ride in the standard car. Only the VIP airport services (fast-track and meet & greet) are charged per guest.

Are there any fees on top of the listed price?

Three possible extras, all disclosed upfront: a $5 night surcharge for pickups between 22:00 and 05:00, $10 per extra stop en route, and a 3% processing fee if you pay by card. Tolls, parking, the nameboard meet & greet, flight tracking and bottled water are already included.

Can I pay in rupiah, and when do I pay?

Yes. Your price is locked in USD when we confirm on WhatsApp, and you pay on arrival — cash in USD or rupiah at roughly Rp 16.300 per dollar, card with a 3% fee, or bank transfer for advance bookings.

Do you charge extra at night?

Yes, one flat $5 (≈Rp 80,000) night surcharge applies to pickups between 22:00 and 05:00 — no per-hour surge, no doubling. It is shown in your WhatsApp quote before you agree, so a midnight arrival is priced exactly like a daytime one plus that $5.
