Luggage Help Is Already Included in Your Transfer

This is the part most visitors don’t realise: if you book a car with us, you have already paid for luggage help. Every private airport transfer includes your chauffeur meeting you at the arrivals exit with a nameboard, taking the trolley, and loading every bag into the car — no tip expected, no extra line on the bill.

What that covers in practice:

• From the exit to the car. Once you clear customs and step into the public hall, your driver takes over the trolley and walks your bags to the vehicle. You carry nothing across the car park.
• Oversize and awkward items. Surfboards, golf bags, prams, and multiple large cases are fine — just tell us the count when you book so we send a vehicle with enough boot space, such as a Staria, Alphard, or Hiace.
• No kerbside haggling. Because the fare is fixed in advance, there is no “porter fee” sprung on you at the car and no tout offering to carry bags for a price.

• You’re travelling heavy. A month’s luggage, dive gear, or a family’s worth of cases is a lot to manage across a busy hall — a porter with a trolley takes the whole load.
• You have your hands full. Parents carrying a sleeping child, or anyone juggling a laptop bag and a passport, appreciate someone else steering the luggage.
• You landed in the evening rush. Pair the porter with a VIP fast-track arrival ($65 per guest) and you skip the 60–120 minute peak immigration queue while your bags are handled for you.

If you decide to use an independent baggage-hall porter rather than book with us, a little local know-how keeps it smooth and fair:

• Agree the amount first. Confirm the tip before the porter touches your bags — IDR 20,000–50,000 per trolley is normal, more if it’s many heavy cases over a long distance. This avoids an awkward moment at the kerb.
• Trolleys are free. You never need to pay for the cart itself; anyone asking a “trolley fee” is not official.
• Only accept uniformed staff. Genuine porters wear airport ID. In the public hall beyond customs, ignore anyone offering to carry bags or arrange a taxi — that is where touts operate, and it is exactly what your pre-booked driver is there to shield you from.
• Keep valuables on you. Passport, phone, and wallet stay in your hand or pocket, porter or not.
