The All Indonesia Arrival Card, Explained

If you last visited Bali a year ago, forget the routine of separate forms. As of mid-July 2026, Indonesia has folded three old requirements — the electronic Customs Declaration (e-CD) once filed at ecd.beacukai.go.id, the immigration arrival card, and the SATUSEHAT health pass — into one unified digital form called the All Indonesia Arrival Card. Complete it once and you have covered customs, immigration arrival details and health screening in a single submission.

The card is mandatory for every international traveller landing at DPS and other Indonesian gateways, and it is completely free. When you finish, the system issues a QR code by email; officers scan that QR when you arrive. When to Fill the Bali Arrival Card (and Where)

Timing matters: the portal only opens the form within the three days before your arrival date, so you cannot complete it weeks ahead. The sweet spot is the evening before you fly, on hotel or home Wi-Fi, when you have your passport and flight details in front of you — not while juggling bags at the airport. Do it on a device you’ll have on landing, because you need the resulting QR code offline at the gate.

• Official app: the “All Indonesia” mobile app from the Directorate General of Immigration.
• Cost: free. Ignore any site or “agent” asking for a submission fee — the form is a government requirement, not a paid product.
• One per traveller: each person needs their own card, though one adult can submit for accompanying family members in a single group entry.

How to Fill the All Indonesia Arrival Card

The whole form takes about five minutes if your documents are ready. Work through it in this order:

• 1. Start a submission. Open allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id (or the app) and choose your arrival date — only dates within the next three days are selectable.
• 2. Enter personal details. Full name, nationality, date of birth and passport number exactly as printed on your bio page. A single mistyped character is the most common reason a QR fails to scan.
• 3. Add arrival details. Flight number, arrival airport (DPS for Bali), and where you’ll stay — usually your first hotel or villa address.
• 4. Declare your baggage. State the number of bags and answer the customs questions — whether you carry goods over the duty-free allowance, large amounts of cash, or restricted items.
• 5. Add family members (if any). If you’re submitting for a group, enter each person’s passport details and your relationship to them.
• 6. Submit and save the QR. Review, submit, and the QR arrives by email. Screenshot it, download the PDF, and keep it offline on your phone.

What You Actually Declare

The customs section is where most travellers hesitate. For a normal holiday you’ll answer “nothing to declare” — personal clothing, toiletries and your own electronics are fine. You do need to declare new goods bought abroad above the personal allowance (currently USD 500 per adult), cash or equivalents over IDR 100,000,000 (about US$6,100), and any commercial merchandise, plants, animals or restricted items. Declaring honestly is quick; getting caught with an undeclared item is not.

Your QR Code at DPS — and Beating the Queue

On landing, have the QR code open before you reach the immigration hall. Officers scan it as part of processing; travellers with a chipped passport and an approved e-VOA can pair it with the automated e-gates for the fastest clearance. Keep the QR offline — airport Wi-Fi is unreliable exactly when you need it, and a screenshot never fails to load.

Common Arrival-Card Mistakes

• Filling it too early. The form only opens within three days of arrival — trying sooner just wastes time.
• A typo in the passport number. The QR is tied to your passport; one wrong character can force a manual check. Copy it character-for-character.
• Relying on airport Wi-Fi. Save the QR as a screenshot or PDF so it opens with no signal.
• Paying a “service”. The card is free on the official portal. Third-party sites that charge for it add nothing but cost.
• Forgetting the levy. The card is not the same as the IDR 150,000 Bali tourism levy — that’s paid separately.
