The Route — Across the Sea Toll to Tanjung Benoa

Conrad Bali occupies a long beachfront on the calm, bay-facing side of the Tanjung Benoa peninsula, the finger of land that runs north from Nusa Dua. From the airport the natural line is the Bali Mandara toll, the low road that skims across Benoa Bay on stilts before touching down at the Nusa Dua and Benoa exit. From there your driver turns north onto Jalan Pratama, the single spine road that threads Tanjung Benoa’s resorts and watersports jetties, and follows it to the Conrad gates. The whole trip is about 14 km and, outside the 16:00–19:00 rush, closer to 30 minutes; a peak-hour arrival can stretch it toward 50 as traffic bunches at the toll plaza.

Because the toll is already inside your fare, the only variable is the clock, never the price. Jalan Pratama is narrow and one-way in stretches, lined with dive shops and jet-ski counters, and it can slow to a crawl on holiday afternoons — exactly the kind of local detail a driver who has made the run hundreds of times reads in advance, so you are dropped at the right entrance rather than idling at a watersports jetty two properties short of the resort.

Where We Drop You — Main Lobby or the Conrad Suites

The resort is really two arrival points on one estate: the main Conrad Bali lobby, which serves the bulk of the rooms and the lagoon wing, and the more secluded Conrad Suites, the adults-preferred enclave with its own pool, lounge and check-in. Tell us which you are booked into when you reserve and your driver takes you to the correct porte-cochère, where the bell staff meet the car — not to a shared drop point at the estate entrance. If your reservation is under a package or a travel agent’s name, send the booking reference on WhatsApp and we match the entrance to it before you land.

This is where a prebooked private car beats a ride-hail app. A Grab pin frequently lands at the outer gate or, worse, a neighbouring hotel with a similar name along Jalan Pratama, leaving you and your cases several hundred metres from check-in; a metered taxi can also decline a fully loaded family at the kerb. Families, Watersports and Getting Back to DPS

Conrad Bali is one of the peninsula’s big family resorts — a saltwater lagoon, a kids’ club and a private beach on the sheltered bay — and Tanjung Benoa’s parasailing and jet-ski jetties sit a few minutes up the road, so arrivals often mean a couple with children, several cases and a stroller. A family of four with luggage fits the Toyota Innova; five or six guests, or anyone travelling with a buggy and extra bags, ride more comfortably in the six-seat Hyundai Staria or the private Toyota Alphard.
