Connecting from DPS to boats and cruises
A large share of DPS arrivals are not staying in south Bali at all — they are heading straight to the water. Benoa Cruise Terminal is the closest connection at 10 km and 25–45 min, a fixed $100. Sanur Harbour (Matahari Terbit), the fast-boat gateway to Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and the Gilis, is 18 km and 40–65 min, at $120. Padangbai, where the Lombok ferries dock, is the long leg: 47 km, 75–115 min, $180. Arriving on a domestic flight
Plenty of travellers reach DPS on a domestic hop — Garuda or Citilink from Jakarta after a long-haul connection, or Lion from Surabaya. The pickup works exactly the same way, just at the domestic exit: nameboard in the greeters line, chauffeur tracking the flight, fixed price agreed beforehand.
