What your Four Seasons transfer covers
Bali Airport Transfer is operated by Bali Premium Trip, running private airport pickups since 2015, with a 24/7 desk at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International (DPS). Both Four Seasons properties sit behind manned security gates, so the value of a booked private car is not just the ride — it is a chauffeur who knows exactly where each entrance is and a fare that never moves.
- Nameboard meet & greet — your chauffeur waits at the arrivals exit holding a board with your name.
- Flight tracking — we follow your landing time, so a delayed or early flight does not cost you your pickup.
- Tolls, parking and fuel included — the fixed fare is the full fare, in US dollars, with no meter and no surge.
- Air-conditioned vehicle with bottled water and space for full luggage.
- English-speaking chauffeurs who drive South Bali and the Ubud road daily.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.

How far is Four Seasons from Bali airport?
The two resorts sit in very different corners of Bali, so the drives feel nothing alike. Jimbaran Bay is only 8 km south of the terminal — your driver turns onto Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai, passes the Kedonganan fish market, then climbs quietly toward the Bukit Peninsula. In the easy midday window it is a 25-minute run; between 16:00 and 19:00 the junction where the Bypass meets Jl. Raya Uluwatu backs up, pushing the trip toward 45 minutes.
Sayan is a different journey altogether: roughly 37 km and, realistically, 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the Ubud-bound traffic through Sukawati and Mas. The last stretch narrows into the ridge lanes above the Ayung River, where the road drops steeply toward the resort. It is a beautiful arrival, but not one to rush — landing in daylight makes the valley approach far more pleasant, and a late-evening arrival is calmer on the road but darker on the descent.
When to leave the airport
- Jimbaran, after 21:00 — the best-value window: quiet roads and an easy sub-30-minute run to the bay.
- Sayan, before 15:00 — aim to be on the road before the afternoon Ubud crush so you reach the valley in daylight.
- Rainy season (Nov–Mar) — an afternoon downpour can slow both routes; your chauffeur watches conditions and re-times the drive.
Where we drop you at Four Seasons
Both resorts are gated, and knowing the entrance saves you a hot wait at the wrong barrier:
- Jimbaran Bay — the entrance is off Jl. Bukit Permai. Security checks guest names at the gate, then your chauffeur brings you up to the arrival pavilion at the top of the hillside estate, where the resort’s own buggies take you down to your villa. Send your reservation name with the booking so the gate has you listed.
- Sayan — the resort’s arrival is its signature: a bridge across to the rooftop lotus pond before you descend into the valley. The driver drops you at the reception forecourt above the river; the ridge lane in is narrow, so having your driver — rather than a first-time rideshare — makes the last kilometre effortless.
For either property, share your villa or suite name and a Google Maps pin when you book and the chauffeur will take you to the correct gate, not the nearest main road.
Is a private transfer worth it, or should I just take a Grab?
For Jimbaran, a metered Grab or the airport taxi counter will be cheaper than our fixed $100, and if you travel light with no fixed arrival time it is a reasonable choice — though rideshares collect from the airport’s designated pick-up zone on the upper level, not curbside, and you carry your own bags there. Our fixed price buys away the friction: a chauffeur already holding your name inside arrivals, a car sized for real luggage, and a fare agreed before you land.
For Sayan the calculation shifts. A rideshare that far out is subject to distance surcharges and driver availability, the ridge lanes are hard to find after dark, and a cancelled pickup two hours from anywhere is a poor way to start a Four Seasons stay. A pre-booked private car with flight tracking and free cancellation is the safer arrival — and if you are a family or a group, a group airport transfer in a six-seat Staria or a Toyota Alphard keeps everyone and their cases in one comfortable vehicle. Couples marking a honeymoon often step up to the Alphard or V-Class for the arrival photos alone.
